It seems to be the theme that much of the CD centers around.
Once I got that (I guess that's what PRATing does), it all fell into place for me.
Very nice album.

One Fatal Mistake (track 4) is a great track, one of IQ's all time best IMO.

This disk and dvd is still kicking my ass. If you haven't gotten it yet - well - then you're stupid. Well - ok that's harsh - but its really good.
Below is a link to the IQ site and you can watch the title track from the cd that's on the dvd. The rehearsal thing is cool too. http://www.iq-hq.co.uk/video.html |

David and I watched the DVD last night, Siggy...David for the first time and me for the second.
Out-fucking-standing! Nicholls' sounds better than ever...his singing has improved by leaps and bounds. |

I totally agree Barry - and I have to say too that I enjoy his onstage persona (or whatever). He's also a very good tambourine player!!

I still haven't watched the DVD. I just haven't had the time. Hopefully this weekend.

I'm going to guess that you'll dig it Mike. Interested to hear your views when you get a chance to watch it.

Finally got to see the DVD this weekend. Wow! What a great setlist and very well performed. I am even more geeked now for the 3RP show. The video looked a
little fuzzy on my 42-inch Philips TV, but not so bad as to be distracting. I don't know how long the concert was, but the DVD just blew by quickly, it
seemed.

I watched part of the dvd again last night - specifically "Seventh House" and "It All Stops Here".
I'll admit to something - until the dvd I had never heard It all stops etc. What a cool song. I obviously still don't have a couple of early IQ disks - and I need to get them asap. This release is probably my top of the year so far. |

Inputs are fine. The Iron Maiden DVD I watched since then looks stellar. Maybe I got a bad copy. It's not BAD fuzzy (and 'fuzzy' is probably the
wrong word), it just doesn't have as crisp a picture as most of my music DVDs have. I've noticed that sometimes the big Philips HDTV can accentuate
small flaws. Maybe adjusting the setting will help.

Like I said, it may be a bum copy. No worries. It's still utterly watchable. Can't be the wires or the TV because the Maiden looks pristine, as did The
Incredibles on family movie night.

Man, I'd forgotten about the DVD. I haven't watched it yet. Gonna do that right now!
