Subterranea, when you tackle it may be best viewed rather than heard, the DVD is excellent with a highly enlightening commentary track. The piece was conceived as an audio/visual performance and works best in that context.I love that album, probably play it MORE than the others, and never knew there was anything more to it. LOL Where's that credit card, ah there it is...be right back

The first song, just listened to is the title song "Frequency". Very typical IQ style on this album so far, totally loving it! |

Heard it twice in Spotify now. Pretty good stuff, overall pretty similar to how I've come to know IQ. They can do without Martin Orford, then.

Got it yesterday and have listened to it once. Very good - some tracks I think are going to "great" in my ears after some more listens.

Seems less "heavy" than Dark Matter...I mean in terms of walls of sound. DM almost crushed my melon throughout (although I love it, for sure), this
one is softer, gentler on the ear.
I loved MO but Westworth slides onto the bench and makes some really interesting sounds with his rig. Nicholls' vox are better than ever...this guy is one helluva singer. The DVD is excellent, too...a nice choice of songs, some of which are amazing live. One thing: Does Mike Holmes ever play a wrong note? I haven't paid that much attention to him as my ears are usually geared to the keys, but this guy is a positively sick guitarist...I kept waiting to hear something off but it didn't happen. All in all a primo CD so far...

Haven't picked my copy up yet, but everything I've heard on *plug* Epic Prog with the Lurker *plug* has been great. Can't wait to check out the DVD
as well.

Holy Shit!!! Just watched some of the dvd with my son (its his BD and he got his present) - I hadn't had a chance to see it yet - and it kicks ass. Like
Barry said - great song list and awesome sound. This reminds me of how excited I was when I got Spock's last concert dvd - just a great concert
performance.
I listened to the cd for the 2nd time today and there are tunes on it that will become really solid hits for me. I can also "hear" a couple that I will probably skip over too - but that's me. This disk and dvd set will definitely be a favorite for a long time. |
